Transition Instructions
Some pets may have sensitive stomachs and could potentially experience digestive upset from a sudden diet change. Because of this, we recommend making a gradual transition between foods. Begin with 25% of the recommended daily portion of the new food mixed with 75% of the recommended daily portion of the previous diet. Feed this blend for 2 – 3 days and then change the mix to 50% of each for 2 – 3 days. Then feed 75% of the recommended daily portion of the new food with 25% of the recommended daily portion of the previous diet for a final 2 – 3 days before fully switching.
For sensitive dogs, extend the period to 10 to 14 days.
